The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has said that the number of polling booths to be used during the Osun state governorship election has been increased.
In a message posted on its Twitter page, INEC said the number of polling stations had been increased to 3,763 instead of the previous 3,010.

The state governorship election is expected to take place on July 16.
Among the contestants are Yusuff Lasun of the Labor Party, Akin Ogunbiyi of the Accord Party, Gboyega Oyetola of the APC Ademola Adeleke of the PDP and Omigbodun Akinrinola of the SDP.
