The Nigerian Army in Borno State has lifted the ban on cycling in Dikwa Local Government Area.
The order was issued earlier by the 24th Joint Task Force in Dikwa, Borno State, which operates under Operation Hadinkai.

The Daily Trust reports that the ban was imposed after the killing of 23 artisans in Mukdala village by suspected Boko Haram militants.
They were killed in an ambush, prompting the army to impose a curfew.
