The Lagos State Police Command has charged three persons with assaulting an independent woman, Hannatu Salihu, to death.
The suspects killed Hannah and burned her body for allegedly keeping the Holy Qur’an under a pillow in her room.

The accused include Abubakar Musa, Sarauta Monsur and Sirajo Yusuf.
Lagos State Police Spokesperson, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed the incident to reporters.
He said the matter had already been referred to the state Criminal Investigation Department, and the three had been arraigned in court.
