Talk is cheap, voting is free; take it to the polls

Many of the non-urban areas near  Nigeria’s major cities are feeling the effects of the lack of basic amenities, including electricity and water, and the means (roads) to link them to markets and neighboring communities. 

Many people in the south or north of the country export their produce to the cities and sell it, yet they suffer as a result of exporting their produce. When it comes to health, there is no mention of pregnant women and children dying due to the lack of health facilities in rural areas.

The picture below shows a Part of the Dakwa community not far away from the capital city of Abuja, but they also suffer from daily problems such as lack of electricity, roads, and health facilities.
