In a bid to streamline the access to verified data, the Kano State Bureau and Statistic Board has announced its plans to launch a comprehensive website that will serve as a central hub for obtaining and updating a plethora of data from official sources.Â
Aliyu Isa Aliyu, a Executive secretary for the Bureau, stressed the importance of relying on verified data, this is contained in a comment his made under Salim Sani Shehu Facebook profile, emphasizing that
“You get that from Kano Bureau of Statistics or National Bureau of Statistics. Those are the only official sources of data.”
He further indicated that the upcoming website will play a pivotal role in ensuring the dissemination of reliable information to the public.
“The post relates to the current intention of the Kano State government to spend over N800M for the wedding ceremony of a widower in the state and compares this spending with the recent project launch by the Lagos State government on the Blue Railway Line.”
This initiative is expected to enhance data-driven decision-making processes and facilitate the dissemination of credible statistics across various sectors in Kano State.
